Merry Christ-mass--ho ho ho

"One of the best known festivals of ancient Rome was the Saturnalia, a winter festival celebrated on December 17-24. Because it was a time of wild merrymaking and domestic celebrations, businesses, schools, and law courts were closed so that the public could feast, dance, gamble, and generally enjoy itself to the fullest. December 25 was the birthday of Mithra, the Iranian god of light, and a day devoted to the invincible sun, as well as the day after the Saturnalia was adopted by the church as Christmas, the nativity of Christ, to counteract the effects of these festivals."
In commenting on the last sentence. He said "to counteract the effects", it was in reality so that the Roman Catholic Church could get converts to their "Church". They just incorporated "paganism" into their so-called Christianity.
Remember ancient Rome is where the Roman Catholuc Church got its start... so Christmas(s) or Christmas as it is called by most will be making more sense to you as we proceed on???
Even today we are continuing this pagan holiday.. We usually have a few days to a week or more off for merry making, partying, living it up, so to speak. We are cekebtrating Saturnalia and then on the 25th of December we hit the birthday of Mithra, the Iranian god of light, the celebration of the invincilbe sun...
The Roman Catholic Church has been doing this from their inception.
So the Roman Catholic Church made Saturanalia a Christian holiday, so to speak, that is in the eyes of those in the world that calls Roman Catholicism Christian.

NOW lets go to one of the most well known Christian preachers of the 1800's, that being Charles Spurgeon. He said,
"We have no superstitious regard for times and seasons. Certainly, we do not believe in the present ecclesiastical arrangement called Christmas: first, because we do not believe in the mass at all, but abhor it, whether it be said or sung in Latin or in English; and, secondly, because we find no Scriptural warrant whatever for observing any day as the birthday of the Saviour; and, consequently, its observance is a superstition, because not of divine authority. Superstition has fixed most positively the day of our Saviour's birth, although there is no possibility of discovering when it occured. Fabricius gives a catalogue of 136 different learned opinions upon the matter; and various divines invent weighty arguments for advocating a date in every month of the year.
"It was not till the middle of the third century that any part of the church celebrated the nativity of our Lord, and it was not till very long after the Western church had set the example that the Eastern adopted it. Because the day is not known, therefore superstition has fixed it; while, since the death of our Saviour might be determined with much certainty, therefore superstition shifts the date of its observance every year.
"Where is the method in the madness of the superstitious? Probably the fact is that the holy days were arranged to fit in with the heathen festivals. We venture to assert, that if there be any day in the year, of which we may be pretty sure that it was not the day on which the Saviour was born, it is the twenty fifth of December.
From a sermon delivered on the Lord's Day morning, 24th December, 1871 at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, Newington, London.

NOW let's bring Satan Claws, I mean Santa Claus into the picture for a minute. If you move the letters around a little in Santa, you have Satan. And that is who he really is.
"Kris[s] Kringle" means "Christ Child" in German-- Kris Kringle is another name for Santa Claus in German. He is their name for the Christmas gift bringer.

"Santa in Spanish means "Holy"...
So we see that playing word games, we have "Holy Claus"
This guy is a religious fellow.
Since "Santa Claus" is really "St. Ni(cholas) Claus is a nickname for Nicholas, a Roman Catholic bishop then you know he is religious...in turn "holy"... or at least by the world's definition.. and also remember that a bishop wears red clothing.
Gayle, my wife, and I were talking about this a while back and she said, "Oh, yeah, remember "Santa Maria" means "Holy Mary" "Santa biblia" in Spanish is "Holy bible".

SANTA, THE SHAMAN
"Santa is often looked upon favorably as a jolly old man giving gifts to little children and keeping the "magic" of Christmas alive. Millions of parents will spend the first 6 to 8 years of their children's lives telling them this lie, going to great lengths to prove it, and inevitably crushing them with the truth. But the height of this hypocrisy is that they will then ask this same child to help them continue this lie to pamper the younger siblings in the household. Alas, we lie and teach our children to lie. How then can one expect honesty?
"A shaman is nothing more than a wizard practicing witchcraft, and Santa Claus is quite the master shaman. Not only does he fly (a boasted practice of many a witch), but he goes down the chimney just as the shamanic spirit of old. In the book, The Story of Santa Klaus."
I read a lot of books, articles where they are talking about paganism being incorporated in Christianity. They are not talking about Christianity but Roman Catholicism, IT IS NOT CHRISTIANITY and they are still incorporating paganism into their church.
The pope who died recently was going all over telling heathens such as Buddhists, Voodoo people of Haiti and others that they are Christians like he is... I agree with him, they are Christians like he is and he isn't one.
Anyway Catholicism gave us Christ-mass Spurgeon refused to celebrate that day as we saw earler. From what I read, most Christians rejected it during his time in the late 1800's... The Catholics gave us Easter too! Two of the most celebrated "Christian" holidays. God is still telling us to come out and touch not the unclean thing.

LET'S LOOK AT THE EVERGREEN TREE...
Go to
Jer. 10:1-5
1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
God tells us here not to cut down a tree and put it in the house and decorate it. If comes from pagan sources. I ask Christians, "What does a tree with all kinds of balls, bells, and other things on it have to do with the Lord Jesus Christ's birthday?" I don't usually get an answer. I had one person tell me one time that the evergreen tree shows everlasting life. I guess he said that because it was still green. I told the person that THE TREE IS DEAD. If that is everlasting life then we don't need it. I agree that it does show everlasting life to the pagan religions.
Why do you say, "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy birthday, Jesus" if you really believe that it is his birthday?

Zech. 2:6
"6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD."
Another word game using the word of God.
Where does "Satan Claws" I mean "Santa Claus" come from???
The North Pole and he comes saying, "Ho, ho, ho".

Now a little more serious note.
Job 34
"21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves."
Im context, God's eyes are upon the ways of man AND remember Santa Claus? "He knows if you;ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake." "You better not pout, you better not cry, you better not shout I'm telling you why Satan Claus is coming to town..."
I don't know the song so if I am a little wrong, forgive me.
Satan, I mean Santa's COMING BACK...
Who do Christians say is coming back??? Jesus Christ??? So called Christian parents tell their kids that Jesus Christ is coming back and out of the other side of their mouth, Santa Claus is coming back??? THINK about that!!!

Eph. 4:8 speaking of Jesus Christ
"8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."
Who ascended on high and gave gifts to men??? Jesus???
No,no, no... Santa Claus... Remember his sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer???
So who are "Christians" telling their kids ascended on high and gave gifts to men???

Ezekiel 6:13
"Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols. "
We usually have some milk and cookies or today in our enlightened society, we have some gin and cookies under or close to the tree..
Christians practice all of this pagan junk and they wonder why more people aren't getting saved. It is like at Easter time, the "churches" are having easter egg hunts. Easter is another pagan goddess, the goddess of fertility. Chickens and rabbits are fertile creatures.

In closing:
God says it 10 times in 10 verses from Deuteronomy to Ezekiel that they worshipped and served their images, their gods "under every green tree".
THINK about it! Every green tree, a sign of perpetual life to the pagans.
DIDN'T we see they were offering "gifts: to their gods under every green tree in Ezekiel 4 above???
ARE NOT MANY Christians and non-Christians alike offering "sweet savors" to the god of Christmass, St. Nicolas, Santa Claus, Satan Claws??? whatever you wnat to call him...
ARE THEY NOT celebrating a pagan god's birthday, "Mithra, the Iranian god of light"???
Hey if you are truly a Christian, born of the Spirit of God then quit the nonsense and get real with God before it is too late.
